
Anna M. Lee, AIA, LEED AP, is the Principal Architect of Alder Architecture & Design, LLC. in Palmer, Alaska. She is a Registered Professional Architect in Alaska and Montana. She established Alder March of 2015 and is the only woman owned Architect firm in the Mat-su Valley. Anna always knew she wanted to be an architect since she was 8 years old and now she is living her dream and the bonus is practicing in Alaska. She earned her Masters of Architecture at Montana State University in Bozeman and completed the Northern Design course at University of Alaska in Anchorage.
She has lived in Alaska since March of 2007, moving here from Montana. Even though the firm is fairly new, Ms. Lee comes with 26 years of architectural experience. Her projects include numerous types of projects all over Alaska, Montana, Idaho, Wyoming, Minnesota, South Dakota and North Dakota. Since arriving in Alaska, Anna has traveled all over the state of Alaska to many remote and beautiful places. The Alder Architecture team recently completed the Design and Construction Administration for some New Teacher housing in two villages in Western Alaska.
It is very important to Anna to be a part the community she lives in. She has hired talented local high school students to aid them along in their career paths. Alder Architecture & Design is a member of the Palmer Chamber of Commerce, Greater Wasilla Chamber of Commerce, Mat-Su Home Builders Association and National Association of Women in Construction. She regularly draws inspiration from the beautiful Mat-Su Valley and the people who live here in order to improve our built environment.

Ryan Laws has been working full time at Alder Architecture since April 2016. He was born and raised in Alaska, and enjoys spending his free time four wheeling and working on his trucks. Ryan graduated from Colony High School in 2015 in which he took several drafting courses before graduation. A year later, he began work with Alder Architecture as a drafter full-time and has gained experience about the business, computer networking, Revit, and Architecture in Alaska. Working for Alder has opened up many great opportunities such as project production and design, construction management, on site visits in the Alaskan bush, computer networking and attending Autodesk University in Las Vegas 2018. After taking the Autodesk exam, Ryan is now an Autodesk Certified Professional in Revit Architecture.

Jonathan Sindorf has worked part time as a drafter and tech consultant at Alder Architecture since April 2018. He is currently a senior at University of Alaska Anchorage pursuing a bachelors in Computer Science. Jonathan has brought his knowledge of computer science to the team to help the team stay ahead of the curve. Here at Alder we are always innovating, and staying up to date on all emerging technology.

Zalen Griffin has worked at Alder Architecture since December 2017. He works full-time in the summers and part-time while attending school. He is currently a sophomore at the University of Colorado, Colorado Springs pursuing a bachelors in Economics. Zalen was a drafting student at Career Tech for 3 years prior to joining our team, and he continues to be a great asset to Alder Architecture.

Courtney Dinkel is the newest addition to the Alder team, joining us during the summer of 2020. Being born into a military family she has lived in a few different places during her childhood years including Germany, Arizona, and Washington State, before settling down in Palmer, Alaska in 2008. She is currently working towards a Mechanical Engineering degree at UAA. Courtney has completed four and a half years of drafting in AutoCAD and SolidWorks throughout high school and university and is now working in Revit, expanding her software horizons. She is very excited to continue to learn the ins and outs of the Architectural world and build connections within the community.
